Island Volunteer Days:

The Friends of Anclote Key State Park & Lighthouse is volunteer organization that supports the park. It is a Citizens Support Organization (CSO) designated by the State of Florida and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).

We also meet from time-to-time out on Anclote Key to help the Ranger with various projects. Volunteers are needed for environmental work, membership drives, and special events that bring information about our favorite island to the public.

Please join us! Just click on the Join Us tab.

We have meetings on the first Tuesday of each month, which is open to everyone. We meet at the Tarpon Springs Public Library at 7:00 pm.

Volunteer for:

  • Information table at selected local events
  • Projects on the island
  • Clean up days
  • To serve on the Board of Directors
  • To Be Membership Chair

We must have this Florida Department of Environmental Protection - Florida Park Service Volunteer Application on file before you report to an event.
